The 11th annual Run Forrest – 10km & 21km & 6km Trail Run offers runners the most picturesque trails in Australia.
Staged in Forrest, nestled in the heart of the Otway Ranges, Run Forrest showcases the regions world class trails and breathtaking natural beauty – undulating hills, flowing rivers, dense fern gullies and the cool, fresh air of the Otway Ranges.

Water Stations
There will be 3 water stations along the route:
We will not supply cups for water stations – bring your own hydration packs
1. 5.5km – Marker (Race Village)
2. 8km – Lake Elizabeth carpark (21km runners pass twice)
3. 16km – Marker
*Note -Water Stations not available for 6km Runners or Kids Race (must carry own water)
Road Crossings
3 ROAD CROSSING in 21km Race will be manned until 1pm. After this time RUNNERS MUST STOP AT ROAD CROSSING and give way to ALL TRAFFIC
Race Number Plate/Bib
Runners will receive a number plate/bib at the registration tent on the day of the race. Number plates will not be posted to competitors prior to the race.
Prizes
NOTE: If you are not able to collect your prize at the event presentations, you are required to email Southern Exposure before Friday 14 June 2024 to claim your prize. Prizes will be forfeited after this date. Shipping fee’s at your expense.
Parking
On Street Parking is available through out the township of Forrest. Please please do not park across driveway, obey parking signs and note the grass areas are very very wet.
No parking available in race village
Food Stalls
We will have a coffee truck.
Where is Forrest?
Forrest is located approximately 1 hour from the regional City of Geelong, 2 hours drive from Melbourne and a short distance to the Great Ocean Road townships of Torquay (55 minutes), Lorne (50 minutes) and Apollo Bay (40 minutes).
It’s an easy and very picturesque drive to Forrest and there’s plenty to see and do on the way. Take your time, enjoy the drive and soak up the scenery.

Forrest Facilities
Fuel is not available in Forrest – the closest petrol station is 35 minute away in Colac or 45km in Apollo Bay
Cash out is not available in Forrest – the closest ATM is 35 minute away in Colac (Bring CASH)
Forrest General Store has some basic/specialty provisions – Do the bulk of your camp shopping before you come as limits stock is avail (tinned food, pasta etc no fresh food)
On The Day Entries
On the day entries will be available
if race is not sold out. If you are entering on the day bring CASH as limited phone reception is available and EFTPOS may not work.
